Day 1 of conference tournaments are in the books and it went as expected. It looks like Barton and Lees-McRae will not be Cinderellas this year. That doesn’t mean that there were not exciting happenings. That’s right, a new season high coming at the most opportune time. Conference Carolinas may not be the favorite to produce the national champion, but they are showing that they can play some high level volleyball. In terms of how this affects the conference tournament, I will talk about that closer to the ConfCarolinas quarterfinals which take place on April 19th.
