The bad news is that there is only one match today. The good news is that this is day 1 of 14 straight days with Men's Volleyball. The even better news is that today's matchup should be a real treat.
BYU will host Princeton in a rare Monday/Tuesday matchup. Both squads come into the season looking to make a statement in their conference and nationally. If you take away the home-court advantage and travel disadvantage, VBelo has this as a close matchup. Once the model adds those factors in, it believes BYU would win 2 out of 3 matchups (67%).
But here is something the model does not take into account.1 BYU is in the midst of playing 6 matches in 9 days. They played on Saturday (two days ago) in Santa Barbara. Now they are back in Utah with four matches scheduled this week. All six of these matches are against ranked opponents too! This is some aggressive scheduling, but I like it. It forces BYU to rely on depth and conditioning early in the season. The downside is that if they lose matches or have injuries, this schedule could hurt them come post-season. Overall, the risk seems worth it for this young BYU team.
If you missed yesterday's VBelo Report, there were some fun graphs involving margin of victory and strength of schedule.

Match Projections
Non-conference
Princeton (33%) vs BYU (67%)
Although, it would be super cool if it did!
With only one match today, it was easy enough to find the streaming option. BYU does a great job of making their matches available for free. All you have to do is create a free account.
