Stanford and USC delivered an epic match yesterday. VBelo had this as a toss up, and it was about as close as it could be. Both teams actually ended up scoring the same exact number of total points (108)! I think what we are really learning about the MPSF is that their conference tournament has the potential to be a dream come true for volleyball fans. I know it is early, but based on the strength of the MPSF teams and their non-conference record, I would be shocked if one of the two at-large bids to the national tournament does not come from the MPSF.
Mondays are normally empty on the calendar, but today we do have 1 match to savor. First year program Missouri S&T will take on the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders (D-III). If this game doesn’t interest you, let me just say that Nate Meyer (MST) is absolutely worth watching. He is currently 4th in the nation in aces per set (0.733) and 26th in kills per set (3.53).
