Apparently, the script for yesterday included having as many reverse sweeps as possible. We had 3 reverse sweeps and another 2 #CincoSets matches because why not? As if it wasn’t enough, the drama included two of the undefeated teams. Grand Canyon fell to Pepperdine in Malibu while Charleston was able to get past George Mason in Fairfax.1 And just like that, there are only two undefeated teams left in the country: Hawai’i and Charleston. Just like we thought at the beginning of the season.2
Here is your stat of the day. Coming into today, there are 15 teams who have perfect records at home. 3
9-0 : Charleston, Grand Canyon
8-0 : North Greenville
7-0 : Hawai’i, Lincoln Memorial, Loyola
6-0 : BYU, UCLA
5-0 : Limestone
4-0 : Daemen
3-0 : Emmanuel, Missouri S&T
2-0 : Central State, Edward Waters
1-0 : St. Francis-Brooklyn
Tons of match scores from yesterday and projections for today so I will keep it brief. I hope you get to watch some volleyball today!
