Even though the higher seeds won yesterday in the Conference Carolinas, don’t be fooled by those results. Mount Olive was on the cusp of pulling off the upset before they were victims of a reverse sweep. Notably, Trevor Treser (UMO) finished the match with 32 digs. THIRTY TWO! In the other match, Belmont Abbey held off the challenge of Lees-McRae with three tightly contested sets. So far, this postseason has been fantastic. Keep it up, everyone!
Today we have 4 conferences in action. There are so many great matches. Looking through them, I think the most likely conference for an upset might be the MPSF. In particular, I am looking at the Stanford/USC match. These teams split the season series (at USC). Stanford will be playing on a home court but their match is also on a weekday at 5:30 pm local time.
Let me know what upsets you think are most likely!
