VBelo Rankings - Top 25

Really Good - There is a reason that UCLA keeps coming up in conversation. Not only are they good, but they are really good. At this point the last few seasons, the top team has had a VBelo Rating between 1969 (UCLA in 2023) and 2041 (Long Beach in 2025). Right now, UCLA is 40 points above that range! So yes, they look really good at this point in the season.
Big West Big Dogs - The top of the Big West is going to be close. Right now, Long Beach sits on top and this weekend’s series with Hawaii will give us a really good look at who is well-positioned for the postseason. The Big West is really just getting started, but this will be a big one.
EIVA Flying Under the Radar - Not a lot of people are talking about the EIVA. This is a real shame because it’s going to be a battle to get that AQ ticket to the NCAA Tournament. Penn State is in the best position, but NJIT and GMU and both within striking distance. This one will likely come down to who has the best EIVA tournament, but home court is going to be a big factor.
