Number of the Day
833 - The date was December 15, 2025. MIVA released their preseason poll for the upcoming season. Four teams had at least 1 first place vote. But back in 6th place was Lindenwood. Zero first place votes. Zero players on the Preseason All-MIVA Team. And yet. AND YET! The Lindenwood Lions are currently tied with Loyola atop the MIVA at 5-1 (.833). Given the current tiebreaker, Lindenwood is in first place. This team might be the most improved/most exceeding-expectations in the country.
For fun, here is what the MIVA looks like from the VBelo Rankings.

You listed all the glvc conference matches as non conference… theres 4 matches today with all 8 of their teams competing. Sbu vs maryville, s&t vs roosevelt, rockhurst vs jamestown, and quincy vs thomas more
The GLVC is seemingly also starting this weekend as they start their two year process.
Underrated story is the program of SFU which will reclassift to DIII after the season. Coach Rumbaugh will manage the change but will play at Stanford tonight. Should be a great series.
