Number of the Day
20-20 - According to a Google search, there are over 300 optometrists on Long Island. This isn’t important to volleyball, but today’s number made me think about vision. In the thrilling 5-set win, Long Island had not one, but two players with 20 kills. That’s right, 20-20 kills. Ike Vernon (21 kills) set a season-high and Kale Spencer (20 kills) had his second straight 20+ kill performance. Things sure are…looking up…for the Sharks.
