Vanguard makes a splash in their last series before conference play.
Number of the Day
1 - Parity. It’s a great word. When it comes to men’s volleyball, parity is all the rage. Last year, Vanguard competed in the MPSF (D-II) after just 4 years of fielding a team in the NAIA. Last night, the Lions took down #9 UCSD. This was their 1st win over a top 10 opponent in program history. This is what happens when you have parity: program firsts.

That is a big win for the MPSF as the RPI of the conference could play in the at large discussion. Probably will not but big landmark win for the program.
