VBelo Daily: February 15, 2026
Lots to love about volleyball from Valentine's Day. Now it's time for some Sunday MIVA action.
Number of the Day
.797 - Coming into yesterday’s matches, the most difficult schedule (according to NCAA Stats and not the model) belonged to Vanguard. Their past opposition has a winning percentage of 0.797. UCSB has the most difficult remaining schedule. In fact, the 4 most difficult schedules are all in the Big West. Go big, or go home, as they say.
According to the VBelo model, the most difficult schedule to date has been Stanford, slightly edging out Vanguard. This is based on the average elo rating of opponents faced so far. NCAA has Stanford as 6th most difficult.

Stanford has played just about everyone in the top 15 and Vanguard has done it by being in the same area as LBSU and UCI. It's an amazing thing that Menlo will now be the recipient of by their proximity to Stanford.
Nice bounceback wins by Central State and Mason.
Will Conference Carolinas be a 2 team race?
The MIVA will continue to be messy. But that's parity at work with many teams hurting early.
UCSB sooo close to the upset.
