Late night on the island as Hawaii and UCSB battled it out in 5 sets before their senior night festivities commenced. The Gauchos almost pulled out the upset in a match that featured a yellow card AND a red card, both in the direction of Hawaii. It was one of those kind of nights.
If the multiple cards weren’t enough for your Saturday drama, Ohio State fell to Lindenwood 3-1 while Ball State fell in five to Lewis. I know I am a broken record on this, but the MIVA might be the exemplar of parity right now. I can’t get enough of it!
