Another Full Saturday
This is one of the busiest weekends of the year. That means it is a great time to watch some volleyball.
After narrowly losing to #11 Ball State last weekend, Lindenwood knocked off #13 Lewis to get their first MIVA win of the season. In case you needed any more evidence that the MIVA is the home of chaos, every team has at least 1 win and 1 loss. We are just getting started in conference play but every team is coming out of the gates hot.
We have another full day of fantastic matches. If you have the time, give a team a follow on social media or use the hashtag #NCAAmvb. There are a lot of ways to support the sport and, like it or not, social media is one of them. Telling friends or family is also a great way!
Feel free to leave some accounts worth following in the comments for others to check out!
Three Intriguing Matches
Saint Francis at Long Island - Round 1 was a thriller! If you are wondering if the NEC has arrived, this matchup is just another example. LIU has shown their grit this entire season so I wouldn’t be surprised if they split the series with SFU.
Mount Olive at Belmont Abbey - Without a clear frontrunner, the Conference Carolinas is wide open this year. VBelo has this as a close match and honestly, just about every match in this conference could be highly competitive. Parity, how I love thee.
Grand Canyon at BYU - For as long as GCU is undefeated, they will be must-watch volleyball. The Cougars didn’t look as sharp as they usually are yesterday so I would expect a tough fight today.
